Q: How soon should I order a sign? Is a traditional lawn necessary for installation of the sign? 

We do not reserve newborn storks in advance due to the unpredictability of baby’s arrival.  Please call us the same day the baby is born for the best chance of having a stork in the yard to greet the new parents when they arrive home with their baby. 
 
We work full time and we’re unable to make same-day deliveries.  We deliver the afternoon before you’d like to have the sign in the yard.  That is why it’s so important to call us as soon as the baby arrives.  We do not count that short period of time as part of the rental.    
 
Although we strive to deliver the afternoon before the baby arrives home, we do not guarantee it.  We stay very busy and normally have multiple deliveries each day.  Again, it’s very important to call us the same day the baby is born for the best chance at installing the sign prior to the baby’s arrival home.   
 
We do not install signs at commercial locations.  We deliver signs to traditional residential lawns only.  We define a lawn as a wide expanse of unobstructed soil with grass on the top.  For example, we cannot install signs in xeriscape, rocks, pea gravel, crushed granite, concrete, mulch, flower beds, raised beds, garden pots, ground cover, thick landscaping or hard packed soil that has been used as a driveway.  We are required to drive the stake into the ground 10-inches for stability. It’s not possible in the situations described above. 

We cannot place a sign in front of public utility boxes, water mains or any other structure owned by the city, county or state.  We cannot impede access to these areas or we could be fined and / or have our signs destroyed because they block access.  

Q: Can proud grandparents order their own stork?

Our Stork Sign can be rented by proud grandparents too to announce that their sweet little granddaughter or grandson has arrived. They can order a stork with a Generic Bundle that says, ‘It’s a Grandson’ or ‘It’s a Granddaughter’ for $80. The generic bundles are not left behind when we come to pick up the storks. However, you can order a stork with a personalized bundle with the baby’s details for the Grandparent at $100. The personalized bundle is left behind as a keepsake.

 Q: Where will you place the new baby sign in the yard?

We pick a spot to install the sign which has great visibility from the road and also has a great background for photos. If you would like us to set it up in a particular spot, please let us know in advance. We will try but on occasions, we are not able to set it up at your desired spot due to street roots or sprinklers, or heavy landscaping. In that case, we will use our best judgment to pick a different spot.

 

Q: How much does the new baby stork lawn sign cost? Do you charge any additional fees?

A: Celebrate the arrival of your new baby with our adorable stork signs! The cost of renting a stork sign for 5 days for your birth announcement is just $100. This includes a personalized bundle that you can keep as a sweet memento. We’re thrilled to offer complimentary delivery within a 10-mile radius of Opelika High School— If you’re a bit farther out, don’t worry; we charge an additional nominal fee. To calculate distances, we rely on Apple Maps, ensuring accuracy in determining the journey from our location to yours. Please keep in mind that all deliveries are subject to our discretion, and we evaluate them on a case-by-case basis, primarily based on the distance involved. Your convenience and satisfaction are important to us, and we’re here to make your experience as smooth as possible.

 

Q: What service do you offer for twins, triplets, and quadruplets?

A: Hey there! If you’re blessed with multiple births, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered! We offer separate stork signs for each baby. Yes, that’s right! Each bundle carries the details of each precious little one. Contact us to learn more about our special offer for multiple births!

 

Q: Under what circumstances do you cancel an order?

A: To avoid order cancellation, please ensure payment is made 24 hours before the stork delivery date. We’ll reach out to you via phone, text, or email to remind you of the pending payment and make sure everything is in order for your special occasion. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

 

Q: What is your refund policy?

A: We always strive to fulfill your requests to the best of our ability. If there are any issues with your order, we’re happy to offer a refund. However, please note that we require a 24-hour notice for any last-minute requests that weren’t previously discussed at the time of booking. You’re eligible for a full refund if you cancel your stork or birthday sign rental at least 24 hours before the delivery date or if extreme weather conditions prevent us from setting up your sign. Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide a refund in situations such as being unable to access a gated community due to a lack of gate code or an incorrect code, refusal of access by a security guard at a gated community, the homeowner or recipient not allowing us to set up the sign or asking for early removal, or if a threatening animal prevents us from accessing the property. We appreciate your understanding, and we’ll always do our best to ensure your satisfaction with our service.
